Nishimura Riki (Japanese: 西村力 (にしむら りき), Hangul: 니시무라 리키), more well known by his stage name NI-KI (Hangul: 니키, Japanese: ニキ), is a member of the South Korean boy group ENHYPEN. He was born on December 9, 2005, and is the maknae of the group, as well as the only Japanese member.
Career[]
2020: I-LAND[]
On June 4, 2020, NI-KI, along with trainees Sungchul, Seon, Jaeho, and Youngbin, via Twitter was revealed as an I-LAND contestant. It was also revealed he had been a trainee for eight months.[2][3]
On September 18, 2020, he ranked 4th place, becoming a part of the official lineup of ENHYPEN.[4]

Early Life[]
NI-KI began dancing at 3 years old by imitating his favorite artist, Michael Jackson. At the age of 5, he began dancing at LEAD Entertainment, his parent's dance studio. He was trained in ballet, contemporary, jazz, and more, but fell in love most with hip-hop. By 2015, NI-KI had trained and danced alongside Michael Jackson's dance crew and legendary K-Pop group SHINee for various live concerts and performances.
In 2019, he came to South Korea alone to audition and join BELIFT Entertainment. He did not speak the language and lived by himself without simple necessities like air conditioning.
His family consists of his two parents, his older sister, and his younger sister.
Entry Test[]
For the entry test, NI-KI performed "Jopping" by SuperM, along with Nicholas and Hanbin. He received a score of 20/22 (90.9%), therefore passing into I-LAND.
Theme Song[]
NI-KI had Part 10 position but later got both leader and Part 1 (Center) positions from Heeseung. He leaves I-LAND and goes to Ground.
Teamwork[]
For the Teamwork test, NI-KI had Part 2, but stayed in Ground. NI-KI and Jay became the leaders of the Grounders.
Representative Unit[]
NI-KI performed "Warrior's Descendant, Reversal & One of a Kind" by H.O.T., X-Teen & G-Dragon along with Nicholas and Jaeho, and was in the dance unit. Unfortunately, they received a score of 65, which was less than the dance I-LANDers score, he stayed in Ground.

NI-KI was still in ground.

NI-KI was in the "DNA" unit that ranked second.

NI-KI was in the "Dive Into You" team.
Concept Test[]
NI-KI had Part 4 with the song "Flame On".

On September 18, 2020, NI-KI placed 4th, and became a member of the boy group ENHYPEN.[5]
