Yang Jung-won (Hangul: 양정원, Japanese: ヤン・ジョンウォン), more well known by his stage name Jungwon (Hangul: 정원, Japanese: ジョンウォン), is the leader of the South Korean boy group ENHYPEN. He was born on February 9, 2004.
Career[]
2020: I-LAND[]
On June 2, 2020, Jungwon, along with trainees Jay, Geonu, EJ, Kyungmin, via Twitter was revealed as an I-LAND contestant. It was also revealed he had been a trainee for three years and four months.[1][2]
On September 18, 2020, he ranked 1st place, becoming a part of the official lineup of ENHYPEN.[3]

Part One[]
Entry Test[]
For the entry test, Jungwon performed "All I Wanna Do (K)" by Jay Park (Feat. Hoody & Loco), along with Yoonwon and Taeyong. He received a score of 21/22 (95.5%), therefore passing into I-LAND.
Theme Song[]
Jungwon had Part 3 position. He stays in I-LAND.
Teamwork[]
Jungwon had Part 3 and stays in I-LAND. Originally, he was eliminated, however K used his dropout exemption card to save him.
Representative Unit[]
Jungwon performed " Rainism, 3 Dope Boyz & One of a Kind" by Rain, Dynamic Duo, G-Dragon along with Sunghoon and K, and was in the dance unit. Fortunately, they received a score of 73, which was higher than the dance Grounders score, he stayed in I-LAND.
The Final 12[]
Jungwon is saved from being dropped to ground, thus, he'll continue on to the second part of I-LAND. He originally had Part 5, but he switched parts with Heeseung. He had Part 2.
Part Two[]
BTS Test[]
Jungwon was the leader and in the "I Need U" unit that ranked last. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rank will be spending a day of freedom outside I-Land doing different activities. Jungwon received 3rd rank and was able to spend a day of freedom along side Sunghoon and Heeseung.
Chemistry Test[]
Jungwon was in the "Flicker" team.
Concept Test[]
Jungwon had Part 3 with the song "Chamber 5 (Dreams of Dreams)".
Final Test[]
On September 18, 2020, Jungwon placed 1st, and became a member of the boy group ENHYPEN.[4]
